This Is Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Seaside People Search is a privately operated reference. We cannot retrieve or certify a record, verify anyone's residence, or delete an entry from a government or third-party database. Contact the office responsible for the record when you need one of those services. Call 911 in an emergency. If stalking or harassment is a concern, contact local law enforcement.
Where to Request Seaside Records
Each Seaside record type has its own official custodian. Use these routes to reach the city, Monterey County, court, or state office that can inspect, copy, or correct the source record:
- City records, contracts, meetings, and municipal correspondence: contact the Seaside City Clerk or use the city request form described in Seaside public records access
- Deeds, liens, and recorded documents: contact the Monterey County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, Recorder Division; these are county records, not Seaside City Clerk files
- Court cases by name: use the Monterey Superior Court record search and its clerk process for copies
- Birth, death, marriage, and divorce material: use Monterey County or California vital-record channels based on the event and document type
- Voter status and restricted voter-file requests: follow the rules on Seaside voter records
- Staff, school, property, and historical listings: browse the verified sources in Seaside people directories
Seaside public-records contact: City Clerk, 440 Harcourt Avenue, Seaside, CA 93955; phone 831-899-6707. The City Clerk is the custodian for municipal records stored at City Hall, off site, or digitally.
When no published portal has the municipal file, submit a focused request under the California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000 et seq. Direct a deed or recorded lien request to the Monterey County Recorder instead. The office that keeps a record is also the office that can certify or correct it.
